Is Greece Dog Friendly?

In our experience, yes, very! Greek people love dogs. They played a big part in Greek mythology. They look after the thousands of stray animals with food, water and even medical treatment. It’s not uncommon to find a Greek family that have taken in a stray or two. Not once were we refused entry anywhere in Crete, Santorini or Mykonos. Even the supermarket worker invited Pebbles in when they noticed one of us waiting outside with her. Our experience may be a bit biased due to Pebbles’ size.
